Honouring His Highness the Aga Khan, the 50th Hereditary Imam of the Ismailis, with a beautiful display of vibrant flowers presented to him

Prepared and compiled by MALIK MERCHANT
In 2018, during the Diamond Jubilee Year of Mawlana Shah Karim, His Late Highness Aga Khan IV, our sister website, Barakah, published a post titled “A picture is worth 10,000 words” – Beautiful flowers for the Aga Khan. During the historic visit of his successor, Mawlana Hazar Imam, His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan, to India from September 9 to 15, 2026, he was warmly welcomed with vibrant, beautiful flower bouquets at every location. In honour of the new 50th Hereditary Imam of the Ismaili Muslims, we present a similar collection of photos.

After researching the significance of flower presentations in Indian culture, I discovered that they symbolize hospitality, deep respect, and auspiciousness. Along with photos showcasing welcome bouquets from India, we have included a collection of the beautiful flowers he received during his visits to Kenya in July 2025 and Pakistan in May 2026. Enjoy!
