Portugal’s Council of Ministers Authorize Sale of Palácio Henrique de Mendonça to the Ismaili Imamat

On Monday, May 9, 2016, Portugal’s Council of Ministers authorized the sale of this historic 107 year old palace located in the heart of the Portuguese capital to the Ismaili Imamat. To all Ismaili brothers and sisters, we should be very proud today for the excellent news that the the well-known place “Palace Henrique de Mendonca” has been acquired as Seat of the Ismaili Imamat in Lisbon, Portugal. It will remain as an historic event and we must count our blessings.
